Every year Christian Life Assembly does a production at Christmas time. They have about 15,000 people come through the doors. We started talking about designing the playbill for this years performance and decided that since the musical was called “The Christmas Post” that it would be a great idea to make the playbill a newspaper.
We started by gathering all of the bios and information from the musical and then added in some articles that were written last time they did this same musical. We found a printer that would give us a great product. Newspaper is so inexpensive to print we were able to save about half the budget compared to a normal playbill.
The final product was an 8 page newspaper. And the reviews have been great. We were excited to see this product go out to 15,000 people.
